People often ask me why I became a private chef, and my answer isn’t what you might expect. I didn’t become a private chef because I love cooking. And I don’t cook because I love food.
I cook because I love taking care of people – like you. That’s why I became a private chef. That’s why I cook – for you, for your guests.
I’m from the Deep South, and the way we show love and care is through food. When I cook, I put my heart on the plate – every plate. Because I care about the person eating the food.
And I hope you love every bite.
I trained at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry, and Hospitality Center, and I’ve cooked in Michelin-rated and James Beard–recognized restaurants like El Carlos Elegante, Rye, and Restaurant Beatrice.
Along the way, I’ve had some fun – hosting pop-up restaurants, cooking at Tiffany Derry’s Shef Food & Wine Festival, placing 2nd in the “86 Cancer” Chopped-style culinary competition at The Adolphus Hotel, and taking 3rd in the 2024 Baylor Scott & White Chef Cook-Off (that’s me in the picture).
