Founder & Chef | Chef’s Kiss
People often ask why I became a chef, and my answer isn’t what you might expect. I didn’t become a chef because I love cooking. And I don’t cook because I love food. I cook because I love taking care of people, like you.
I know what it feels like to juggle work, family, and everything else life throws at you. I’m a husband, a dad of three, and a business owner. I started Chef’s Kiss to take the planning, shopping, and cooking off your plate, giving you the luxury of a chef and more time to enjoy the people and moments that matter.
I’m from the Deep South, and the way we show love and care is through food. When I cook, I put my heart on the plate – every plate. Because I care about the person eating the food.
Whether it’s meal prep to make your week easier or a private chef dinner to make the night unforgettable, I hope you love every bite.
I trained at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry, and Hospitality Center and cooked in Michelin-rated and James Beard–recognized restaurants like El Carlos Elegante, Rye, and Restaurant Beatrice. Along the way, I’ve hosted pop-ups, cooked at Tiffany Derry’s Shef Food & Wine Festival, placed 2nd in the “86 Cancer” Chopped-style competition at The Adolphus Hotel, and took 3rd in the 2024 Baylor Scott & White Chef Cook-Off.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about the food – it’s about family, friends, and the memories made around the meal.
